Description For sale is a 1979 Rolex Datejust 36 (ref. 16030) with a custom onyx dial. The watch comes as watch-only and does not have the original box or papers. The watch has a “5” million serial, which dates it to 1979. It is fitted with a 62510H bracelet with an “F” clasp code, dating the bracelet to 1981, making it period-correct. The watch was recently serviced by us in 03/2026. It is running well, functioning without issues, and is backed by our 1-year warranty. Condition: The watch shows noticeable wear, including scratches, scuffs, and minor dents on the case, bracelet, and bezel. The bracelet is in poor condition with obvious stretch (aka sag – please refer to photos). The hands have developed a natural patina on the lume and also show light scratches. The acrylic crystal has visible surface-level scratches. Sizing: The case measures approximately 36mm in diameter, 20mm lug width, 43.8mm lug-to-lug, and 12.6mm in thickness. The bracelet will fit up to approximately a 7.25-inch wrist maximum.
