Solution: Try using your tap water. This unit uses an electronic current system that uses the water to complete the circuit. Since there are no minerals in distilled water it is unable to conduct electricity and complete the circuit. Using tap water is often times enough to resolve this issue. You can still use your distilled water but we do recommend using about 1/4th tank of regular tap water mixed in. The filter in your water tank will work to remove any harmful or potentially damaging minerals in your tap water.
