S5 is .45ACP polymer frame, single-stack, striker fired pistol. Featuring 3.3 inch hammer forged barrel and forged slide. Barrel and slide are Melonite treated. Slide has pronounced serrations for easier manipulation and is equipped with fiber optic front sight and tack-rack rear sight. The sights are serrated to prevent the glare. Grip is slimmer with rounded trigger guard and extended beaver-tail for higher hand positioning and better recoil control. All surfaces on gun are rounded to produce “no-snag” effect. Other features are three safeties – grip safety, trigger safety and firing pin safety along with loaded chamber indicator. Magazine release is fully ambidextrous. S7 comes with two types of stainless steel magazine – one is flush with grip and capacity of 5 1, the other is with grip extension and capacity of 7 1.
